Upgraded Asus Zenfone Max launched for Rs. 9999

Asus launched an upgraded version of Asus Zenfone Max in the Indian markets for Rs. 9,999 . This handset is different from the one also called the Zenfone Max that was launched in early (January) 2016.  The new Max is powered by octa core processor.

This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It is a bit different when compared with the old Zenfone Max. The new Max comes with 32GB storage – older max was with 16GB storage, micro SD card up to 64GB is supported. There are two versions with 2GB RAM and with 3GB RAM.
Weight with battery is 202 grams and thickness is 10.55mm. Screen is 5.5 inches TFT with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution also protected with Gorilla Glass 4 (as mentioned on Flipkart). On the rear there is luxurious leather pattern design and metal effect bezel. Camera, well a 13MP on the rear using pixel master technology with laser AF and on the front there is a 5MP fixed focus camera.
There are dual SIM slots and a separate micro SD card slot. The new Asus Zenfone Max is running Marshmallow out of the box. Other features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. A 5000 mAh battery powers up this handset that will last for up to 3 days with mixed usage. This handset can also charge other devices. Zenfone Max is available in Blue, Black, White and Orange colour options.

Loop VR headset for the OnePlus 3 launch for Rs. 1

OnePlus used VR for the OnePlus 2 launch, the same will happen with OnePlus 3 too, and you do need a VR devices. OnePlus sold cardboard VR's for free before the OnePlus 2 launch event and for the OnePlus 3 launch event they will be selling the Loop VR headset (powered by ANTVR) for Rs. 1.
Though the headset is priced at just Rs. 1, you do need to pay for the shipping charges that I guess will be minimal. The Loop VR headset is much better that the cardboard VR. It's a futuristic VR headset that will be made available on 3rd June and on 7th June for just Rs.1 on Amazon.in – do note you will still have to pay for the shipping charges – I guess should be under Rs. 200.
There will be 30,000 Oneplus Loop VR headsets in stock. This VR headset weighs around 366 grams and comes with orthoscopic lenses. The VR comes with head strap that can be adjusted, for hands free experience. Now this VR can house smartphones with 5 to 6 inch screen size.

Sennheiser HD400 series next gen headphones launched starting from Rs. 5000

Sennheiser today launched 3 headphones in the HD 400 series. The HD 451 for Rs. 5,000, HD 461 (i/G) for Rs. 5990 and HD 471 (i/G) for Rs. 7,990. These headphones will be available from retails stores across India and one can also buy it online from Sennheiser India website.
Sennheiser HD 451 headphone comes with 1.2 meter single sided cable. It's comfortable to wear for a longer time. Frequency response is 20Hz to 20000 Hz – 108dB and Impedance 32Ω. This is an over the ear headphone that also helps eliminate ambient noise.
HD 461 and HD 471 comes with detachable cables. They also come with inline remotes and mics that makes it easier to control media player and to receive / cancel calls on smart devices. Frequency response (461) is 17Hz to 22500 Hz, 112dB and Impedance 32Ω. Over the ear design makes it easier to block ambient noise, these headphones are more comfortable.

Alcatel today launched the Pop Star handset, in the POP series, for Rs. 6,999. This handset is powered by quad core processor with 4G support and sails on Android Lollipop. Alcatel Pop Star will be available on Gadgets 360 for Rs. 6,999.

Alcatel Pop Star features and specifications

This is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support. Pop Star sports a 5 inch IPS screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is running Android Lollipop version 5.1 out of the box with 1GB on board RAM and 8GB of internal storage space. There is micro SD card support too, of up to 32GB.

Vivo Y21 quad core smartphone with 3G support for Rs. 7490

Vivo Y21 is a MediaTek quad core powered smartphone with 3G support, another handset in the Vivo Y series. This handset is now available in India for a price tag of Rs. 7,490 (offline stores) it is also listed on Flipkart for Rs. 7,799.

This dual SIM handset (with dual standby mode) is powered by MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz quad core processor running Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android lollipop version 5.1. There is 1GB on board RAM and 16GB ROM. Micro SD card of up to 128GB is supported.
Vivo Y2 weight with battery is 145 grams and dimensions are 66.4 x 130.7 x 9.2 (mm). This smartphone sports a 4.5 inch IPS screen with 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution. Intex Aqua Secure 4G quad core with finger print sensor for Rs. 6499

Intex mobiles have launched the new Intex Aqua Secure smartphone for Rs. 6,499. This handset as the name suggest comes with finger print sensor placed on the back. Aqua Secure is quad core powered and supports 4G LTE.

Secure is a dual SIM handset with 4G LTE support. It sports a 4.5 inch screen (IPS) with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Inside the hood this handset houses the MediaTek MT6735M quad core processor (cortex A53 – 64 bit) coupled with Mali T720 GPU.
Android Lollipop OS version 5.1 runs out of the box with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage space. The micro SD card slot can hold up to 32GB external cards. Aqua Secure weight is 130 grams with 1900 mAh battery and thickness is 9.4mm.
