Sony unveiled the Xperia XA Ultra with 21.5MP camera

Sony unveiled another Xperia handset the Sony Xperia XA Ultra. Key highlight about this smartphone is that it is powered by Helio P10 processor and sports a 6 inch FHD screen. The XA Ultra also comes with a 21.5MP hybrid AF primary camera. The price! Not yet disclosed.

This handset will come with optional dual SIM support. Sony Xperia XA Ultra is powered by MediaTek 64 Bit Helio P10 MT6755 octa core processor clocked at 2GHz coupled with Mali T860 GPU.
Android 6.0 runs the show with 3GB on-board RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. Users can use micro SD card of up to 200GB. XA Ultra sports a 6 inch curved display supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. And like the other premium Sony smartphones this one is also using Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.
Handset weight is 190 grams with 2700 mAh battery and thickness is 8.4mm. When it comes to the camera there is a 21.5MP hybrid AF camera using EXMOR RS sensor packed on the back with flash and the front camera is of 16MP resolution with front LED flash.
Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, NFC and BT 4.1. Sony claims that the 2700 mAh battery will last for up to 2 days with mixed usage.
The company has not yet revealed the Sony Xperia XA Ultra price.

Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus goes official starting from Rs. 13499

Lenovo today launched the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus in the Indian markets. The G4 Plus packed with 2GB RAM is priced at Rs. 13,499 and the 3GB variant comes for Rs. 14,999. The Moto G4 will be made available next month and it's price will be unveiled later on.

This dual SIM handset houses the qualcomm snapdragon 617 octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU. This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen protected with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and supporting 1920 x 1080p resolution.
Android 6.0.1 runs the show with optional 2GB RAM/16GB ROM or with 3GB RAM/32GB ROM plus expandable storage of up to 128GB is supported. A 16MP camera (PureCel Plus)with dual tone LED flash and PDAF + laser AF is packed on the back and on the front there is a 5MP fixed focus wide angle camera.
Other features are 4G LTE, VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, finger print sensor and BT 4.1. A 3000 mAh battery powers up this handset and it does support turbo charging.
Moto G4 Plus 2GB RAM comes for Rs. 13,499 and the 3GB RAM for Rs. 14,999. The handset will be available on Amazon.in starting today midnight with exciting offers.

This is also a dual SIM handset powered by snapdragon 617 1.5GHz 64 bit octa core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen with FHD resolution and Gorilla glass 3 protected.
Android 6.0.1 runs the show with 2GB RAM / 16GB ROM and 128GB micro SD card support. There is 13MP camera on the back with flash support and on the front a 5MP fixed focus shooter.
Other features are 4G LTE / VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, BT 4.1 and WiFi. This one also gets power from a 3000 mAh battery (+ turbo charging).
The Moto G4 specifications are almost same with minor difference and point to be noted is that this handset is using a different camera sensor. I guess G4 will be cheaper that G4 plus with price under Rs. 12K.

Casio Unisex Smart Fitness watch STB-1000-1ADF listed for Rs. 6396

Another fitness watch from Casio – the Unisex STB-1000-1ADF got listed on Amazon for a price tag of Rs. 6,396. Now do note that Casio Unisex Smart Fitness watch STB-1000-1ADF  is compatible with iOS platform and does not support Android.

LG Stylus 2 quad core running Marshmallow for Rs. 20500

A new handset in the Stylus series from LG, i.e. the LG Stylus 2 got listed on the LG Indian official website with a price tag of Rs. 20,500 – this is the MRP. This handset is powered by quad core processor and it does come with stylus pen.

This dual SIM handset is light weight at 145 grams and pretty slim with a thickness of 7.4mm. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 304 GPU. Stylus 2 is running LG UI 5.0 over Android Marshmallow with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and micro SD card support.
The In cell capacitive touch screen is of size 5.7 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is a 13MP CMOS AF camera on the rear with flash support and on the front there is an 8MP FF camera. Rear camera can shoot FHD vidos at 30fps. Other features are 4G LTE (VoLTE support), 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and BT 4.1. The 3000 mAh removable battery powers up this handset. LG Stylus 2 with Precise Stylus pen (screen off memo, pen pop, pen keeper) is priced at Rs. 20,500.

Micromax Canvas Evok E483 octa core smartphone launched for Rs. 8499

Micromax added a new handset in the Canvas series called the Micromax Canvas Evok E483. The key highlight about the Evok E483 is that it houses the Snapdragon 415, packed with 3GB RAM and supports 4G LTE. Handset is priced at Rs. 8,499.

A 13MP camera with dual LED flash is packed on the back (it's an auto focus camera) and on the front there is a wide angle camera with 5MP resolution. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth version 4.0. CREO rolls out updates on Mark 1 handset

CREO had recently launched their first handset called the Mark 1 that was running Fuel OS out of the box. The key highlight about the Fuel OS is that it will get monthly updates, that will include new features too. The company today rolled out the first update on Mark 1.
The new update will add three new features namely Data manager, Selfie Flash and Enhance photo Editor. Two old features also got upgraded – i.e. the Echo and Sense. Echo is a personal answering machine the new update adds 6 Indian language support (welcome message). Sense also got updated now users can use it to get real time results and can even use it for calculations, add phone number to contacts and more.
A new feature called data manager will give users option to restrict background data activity for any app, thereby saving data and money.  Selfie flash is another new feature that kind of brightens the front screen for split second before taking a Selfie.
And finally the Enhance photo editor that will allow quick image editing (apply filters, transform, adjust, crop etc).
If you are using the CREO Mark 1, download and install the updates, the best part is that in case you don't want specific feature (for example selfie Flash), you can ignore that particular update.

Reliance LYF Wind 4 and Flame 2 launched for under Rs. 7K

Reliance launched two new LYF Handsets called LYF Flame 2 and the LYF Wind 4. Both these handsets come with 4G LTE VoLTE support – price of Flame 2 is Rs. 4,799 and the Wind 4 comes for Rs. 6,799.

This dual SIM handset sails on Android 5.1 with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 128GB micro SD card support. Screen is 5 inches, IPS with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Inside the hood the Wind 4 is using Snapdragon 210 quad core processor clocked at 1.1GHz with Adreno 304 GPU.
There is an 8MP camera on the rear (it's AF) with flash and on the front there is a 2MP fixed focus (FF) camera. Key features are 4G LTE, VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. A 4000 mAh battery powers up this handset.

Reliance LYF Flame 2 features and specifications

This is also a dual SIM handset that houses the MediaTek MT6735M quad core processor clocked at a 1GHz with Mali T720 GPU. Flame 2 is running Lollipop 5.1 over a 4 inch screen with 840 x 480 pixels resolution and is packed with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 32GB micro SD card support.
On the rear there is a 5MP AF camera with flash support and on the front there is a 2MP fixed focus camera. Key features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, BT 4.0 and WiFi. This handset gets power from a 1500 mAh battery.

Intex iRist Junior Smartwatch launched for Rs. 3999

Intex Technologies launched a new Smartwatch especially made for kids – the Intex iRist junior. This Smartwatch houses the MediaTek MT6261 chipset and though it looks like an ordinary watch it is also a child tracking device.

As mentioned the iRist junior looks like an ordinary watch made for kids. But inside the hood it is powered by MediaTek processor. There is a TFT screen of 0.96 inches that will just show the time. For the kid this is just a watch but for the parents this is a real-time child tracking device.
Junior Smartwatch is water resistant – IP65 certified. It comes with a single SIM slot with 2G support. This watch supports voice chat, two way communication, auto answer, can report location and can also block unknown callers. There is built in WiFi, SOS and GPS/LBS.
A 580 mAh battery powers up this Smartwatch. Intex iRist Junior MRP price in India is Rs. 3,999.
Intex also announced the iRist Pro an improved version of iRist Smartwatch.  iRist Pro price has not yet been disclosed.
