iBall Slide Snap 4G2 and Co-Mate tablets launched from Rs. 7K onwards

iBall launched two new tablets the iBall Slide Snap 4G2 and the Slide Co-Mate. Snap 4G2 comes with dual SIM slot with 4G LTE support priced at Rs. 7,999 and the Co-Mate also a dual SIM tablet with 3G support is priced at Rs. 6,999.

iBall Slide Snap 4G2 features and specifications

This dual SIM tablet is powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 4G LTE support. Tablet screen is 7 inches (IPS) and supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It is running Android Lollipop 5.1 with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM + 32GB micro SD card support.
There is a 5MP primary camera on the back with LED flash support and 2MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. This tablet gets power from a 3500 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be available soon.

iBall Slide Co-Mate features and specifications

This iBall dual SIM tablet is powered by cortex A7 1.3GHz quad core processor with 3G support. It is running Lollipop 5.1 over a 8 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 32GB micro SD card support.
Co-Mate comes with a 5MP camera on the back enhanced to 8MP and 2MP camera on the front. Other features are FM radio, WiFi, 3G, 2G, GPS and BT 4.0. This tablet gets power from a 4300 mAh battery.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus quad core with 5000 mAh battery launched

Acer launched a new handset in the Zest series called the Acer Liquid Zest Plus. Key highlight about this handset is that it comes with a 5000 mAh battery, running Marshmallow and houses a 13MP laser AF camera.

The Liquid Zest Plus sails on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with 2GB on board RAM and 16GB ROM (internal storage). There is micro SD card support too of up to 128GB. This smartphone houses the MediaTek MT6735 64 bit quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU.
Zest Plus sports a 5.5 inch screen (IPS) supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is a 13MP laser AF camera on the back that uses the hybrid tri focus technology – this makes use of PDAF, contrast detection and Laser AF to capture the best shot. Front facing camera is of 5MP resolution with wide angle lens.
Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and DTS HD sound. A 5000 mAh battery powers up this smartphone and as per the company it will give up to 3 days of mixed (normal – moderate) usage. Quick charging is supported.
Acer Liquid Zest Plus will be available in Blue and White colour options in the Asian markets pretty soon. Price could be under Rs. 17K.

Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus 3G smartphone launched for Rs. 3999

Micromax has launched the Canvas Spark 2 Plus smartphone that is powered by quad core processor with 3G support and is running Android Marshmallow out of the box. This handset will be available exclusively on Snapdeal from 22nd April (open sale) for Rs. 3,999.

The Spark 2 Plus is a new handset in the Micromax Spark series that comes with dual SIM slots with 3G support. This handset is powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (Chipset unknown). It sports a 5 inch screen with FWVGA – 854 x 480 pixels resolution.
The only good think about the Canvas Spark 2 Plus is that it is running Marshmallow Android Version 6.0 with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage space. Users can use up to 32GB of external storage space.
The camera on the Spark 2 Plus does not look that great, there is a 5MP fixed focus on the rear with flash and a 2MP fixed focus on the front.
Other features are 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth 4 and WiFi. A 2000 mAh removable battery powers up this smartphone.
Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus will be available tomorrow on Snapdeal for Rs. 3,999.

Single Core powered Intex Aqua G2 for Rs. 1990

Intex Mobiles launched a low cost smartphone the Intex Aqua G2 that is loaded with antique hardware and software. It is single core powered and runs Jelly Bean out of the box. The Auqa G2 is priced at Rs. 1,990.

Aqua G2 from Intex is a dual SIM handset that houses the RDA 8810PL single core processor and is running Android Jelly Bean version 4.2.2 over a 2.8 inch LCD touch screen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution. This handset is packed with 256MB RAM and 512MB internal storage space.
The micro SD card slot in turn can hold up to 32GB external cards. The Intex Aqua G2 comes with a fixed focus VGA camera on the front and a VGA camera on the rear. Other features are 2G, Bluetooth version 2.1 and WiFi. There is no built in GPS. A 1100 mAh removable battery powers up this handset.

LeEco Le Max 2 launched with 6GB RAM starting from RMB 2099

Along with LeEco Le 2 amd the Le 2 Pro, the company also launched the LeEco Le Max 2. The Le Max 2 is using snapdragon 820 processor and comes packed with a good 6GB RAM. This handset is using ultrasonic finger print sensor. Le Max 2 is priced at RMB 2099 for 4GB variant that comes to approx Rs. 21,455 and RMB 2499 for 6GB variant (Rs. 25,592)

LeEco Le Max 2 features and specifications

This is a dual SIM handset powered by qualcomm snapdragon 820 quad core processor clocked at 2.1GHz with Adreno 530 GPU. This is the same hardware that powered the Xiaomi Mi 5. Le Max 2 comes packed with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.
It sports a 5.7 inch screen supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels (Quad HD) resolution. EUI 5.5 over Marshmallow 6.0 runs the show. LeEco Le Max 2 also includes a 21MP primary camera with dual tone LED flash (using IMX230 sensor) and 8MP camera on the front.
Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G/2G, CDLA audio, Dual Band WiFi, USB Type C port, Ultrasonic finger print sensor and Bluetooth 4.1. A 3100 mAh fast charging (QC 3.0) battery powers up this handset.
LeEco Le Max 2 is priced at RMB 2099 (approx Rs. 21,455) with 4GB RAM and RMB 2499 with 6GB RAM.
At the launch the company (LeEco) also unveiled their next line of product Electric car.
LeSEE concept car, fully automatic – the car was showcased at the event today and it does come with automated driving features. The car will also be announced at the Beijing Auto Show.

Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo price in India is ₹18K

The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo smartphone is now available in India via offline stores for ₹17,999. The price has been confirmed by Mumbai retailer Mahesh Telecom. P1 Turbo handset is powered by Snapdragon 615 octa core chipset and comes with finger print sensor and a massive 5000 mAh battery.

Vibe P1 Turbo was first announced in the Indonesian markets in Feb 2016. This handset sports a 5.5 inch IPS screen protected with gorilla glass 3 and playing around with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. As mentioned it houses MSM8939 (Snapdragon 615) octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU.
It's a dual SIM handset running Vibe UI over Lollipop 5.1 with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and users can also use micro SD card of up to 128GB. Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo also comes with a 13MP primary camera with flash (dual tone) and secondary camera is of 5MP resolution.Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, WiFi, BT 4.1 and finger print sensor on the front. There is a 5000 mAh battery that powers up this handset and it's weight with battery is 189 grams.
This handset is still not listed on the Official Lenovo India website. Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo has already reached selected Indian offline markets and currently selling for ₹17,999.

Google Chromecast 2, Chromecast Audio launched for Rs. 3399

Google today at an event in Delhi launched the Google Chromecast 2 for 3,399 and the Google Chromecast Audio for ₹3,399. Chromecast 2 is a HDMI streaming device and the Chromecast Audio streams audio from other devices.

Google Chromecast 2 has got a new look – when compared with its predecessor the Chromecast, it's circular, smaller in size and comes with a clip that one can easily attach to the HDMI cable. There is a single HDMI port on the Chromecast, connect the HDMI cable to the port and then connect the Cable to the HDMI port on your TV.
This device will convert your ordinary TV into a smart TV. With Chromecast 2 attached users will be able to stream data from other devices connected on the same network on to the big TV screen. This new Chromecast comes with built in dual band WiFi (2.4Ghz and 5GHz).
Chromecast Audio also works in the similar way, you need to connect this device to the AUX input port on your Audio system. Once connected you will be able to cast audio say for example from your smartphone, laptop, desktop or tablet on to your home audio system. Chromecast Audio also makes use of WiFi (dual band – 2.4GHz / 5GHz).These devices are available on Snapdeal for ₹3,399 each.

LeEco Le 2 and Le 2 Pro unveiled starting from 1099 RMB

At an event in China, today, LeEco unveiled the LeEo Le 2 and the Le 2 Pro smartphones. The Le 2 is powered by X20 Deca Core processor and the Le 2 Pro houses the X25 Deca Core processor. Both these handsets come with finger print scanner.

LeEco Le 2 features and specifications

This handset is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 10 core (deca core also used on Meizu Pro 6) processor coupled with Mali T880 MP4 GPU. EUI 5.5 over Android 6 Marshmallow runs the show with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Le 2 Sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080p resolution.
There is 16MP camera on the back with dual tone LED flash and 8MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, CDLA audio, USB Type C, finger print sensor, BT 4.1 and WiFi (dual band). The Le 2 gets power from a fast charging 3000 mAh battery.
LeECo Le 2 is priced at RMB 1099 (approx Rs. 11,200).

LeEco Le 2 Pro features and specifications

This handset is using a slightly different chipset Helio X25 Mediatek deca core with Mali T880 MP4 GPU. This one too is running EUI 5.5 over Marshmallow. Screen is 5.5 inches supporting 1920 x 1080p resolution.
There is 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. A 21MP auto focus camera is packed on the back with dual LED flash support (SONY IMX230) and front camera is 8MP. Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, CDLA Audio, USB Type C port, BT 4.1 and WiFi (dual band). Le 2 Pro gets power from a 3000 mAh battery (fast charging supported).
The handset price in China will be revealed soon.
LeECo Le 2 pro is priced at RMB 1499 (approx Rs. 15,300).
