Now this handset is available in two variants. You can either go with the M5 Lite with GSM support only for ₹12,999 or M5 Lite with GSM / CDMA support for ₹13,649.If you are using CDMA networks then the Marathon M5 Lite with CDMA support is a very good option. You can either use GSM or CDMA, do note that the CDMA version comes with an extra price tag. Marathon M5 Lite is powered by MT6735 quad core processor (MediaTek 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU). It sports a 5 inch 720 screen running Lollipop 5.1 and loaded with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and micro SD support.An 8MP camera is packed on the back and front camera is of 5MP resolution. Additional features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. This dual SIM handset houses a 4000 mAh battery that gives up to 32 hours of talk time. Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) with ‘S bike mode’ launched in India, priced at Rs 8,990 Posted: 01 Apr 2016 05:51 AM PDT Samsung has today launched a new smartphone in India, called the Galaxy J3 (2016). One of the highlights of this new smartphone is a dedicated 'S bike mode'. As the name suggests, it is basically a feature aimed at helping bikers concentrate on the road without getting disturbed by notifications et al. The Galaxy J3 (2016) is priced at Rs 8,990, and it will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. The highlight feature of the new Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is what the company calls S bike mode. Buyers get a NFC tag that needs to be stuck on the bike. When you sit on your bike, tapping your smartphone on the tag will automatically activate the S bike mode on the device.In this mode, when the biker gets a call, the caller actually hears a pre-recorded message saying that the person is currently riding a bike. Only if the caller presses 1, will the call actually go through. The mode also supports gestures, and the biker can reject the call using a gesture. The bike mode also includes motion lock, which prevents the biker from answering the call when the bike is moving. It can also monitor the bike ride and share statistics with the rider. Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) specifications, features: The new Galaxy J3 (2016) flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It also includes 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.On the photography front, the Galaxy J3 (2016) features a 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front. It also features a 2,600mAh battery that Samsung claims is good enough for up to 22 hours of talktime and up to 14.5 days on standby mode. The Xiaomi Mi 5 houses a snapdragon 820 quad core processor and is packed with 3GB RAM plus 32GB ROM. The handset will be available in India for a price tag of ₹24,999.Xiaomi had announced at the recent Redmi Note 3 launch event that they will launch the Mi 5 soon, well they just did. Mi 5 weighs around 129 grams and is 7.25mm thick. It's a dual SIM handset that sports a 5.1 inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) IP screen. A 16MP AF camera with f/2.0 aperture is placed on the rear with flash and front camera is a 4MP shooter. Rear camera comes with 4 axis OIS the first of its kind. Xiaomi Mi Ecosystem, Rice pressure cooker, router 3, purifier 2 and BT speaker announced Posted: 01 Apr 2016 05:33 AM PDT At an event in China Xiaomi announced the Mi Ecosystem (MIJIA i.e. Smart Home), Rice Pressure Cooker, Mi Water Purifier 2, Mi Bluetooth Speaker and Mi Router 3. The Mi Ecosystem is a step ahead into smart home automation system – bringing home related gadgets into one roof.The Rice cooker (under Mi Ecosystem) comes with built in WiFi and supports cloud connectivity. This basically is a pressure cooker (Induction based), but highly intelligent, such as it can control the exact pressure inside the cooker for perfect cook, preserving the rice flavor. The 3 liter capacity pressure rice cooker is using non-sticky coating and goes through 66 step process. All that a user need to do is scan the rice package (more than 200 bands supported), data is loaded on the cloud and cooker will automatically select the best cooking method for that particular brand. This cooker is priced at RMB 999 (approx ₹10K). Mi Water Purifier 2 (using RO Reverse Osmosis Tech) as per Xiaomi can purify 1 litre water per minute (around 76 barrels of bottled water in 24 hours. This unit comes with built in WiFi and users can connect it via app, they can then get information about the water quality. The Water Purifier 2 comes for RMB 1999 (approx ₹20,000). The Xiaomi Mi Router 3 comes with 4 antennas that provide stronger signal. This router also comes with 128MB flash (built-in). Router 3 is priced at RMB 149 (approx ₹1500). This handset is powered by quad core processor and sails on Lollipop with 1GB on-board RAM.The Micromax Canvas Spark 3 Q385 got listed a few days back on their official site, there was some confusion regarding 4G support. It is now officially confirmed that the Spark 3 Q385 supports 3G networks. This is a dual SIM handset powered bySpreadtrum SC7731 quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
