Lenovo A7000 getting Marshmallow update

Lenovo has started rolling out Marshmallow Android 6.0 update on the Lenovo A7000 smartphone. Some users have already confirmed getting the update. This is a OTA (over the air) update, make sure to download it using WiFi.

Marshmallow Update on Lenovo A7000 is on the way. If you are using the A7000 handset you might have already got the notification or you will get it within few days. These updates happen in sequential manner so wait for few more days if you haven't got the update.
It's the A7000-a_S153_151127_ROW_TO_A7000-a_S223_160405_ROW file that is around 1359MB (1.3GB). Make sure to use WiFi connection and install the updated only when the battery level is over 75%.
Marshmallow update in general applies different logic to SD card and hence if you had stored data / apps on external SD card the Marshmallow update will erase that, so make sure to take a backup of your data.
The marshmallow update will bring around a lot of changes, though there is not much of a change with the interface.

Huawei Smartwatch launched for ₹22999

The Huawei Smartwatch is finally here in India. This Huawei Watch with a circular AMOLED screen carries a price tag of ₹22,999.  It is running Android Wear OS out of the box and will be available in Black, Silver and Gold colour options.

Huawei Smartwatch features and specifications:

Inside the hood this Smartwatch is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 400 MSM8926 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Android Wear OS runs the show with 512MB RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage. There is no SIM card and micro SD card slot.
Huawei Watch sports a 1.4 inch AMOLED screen (always-on) supporting 400 x 400 pixels resolution. The watch glass also comes with sapphire crystal glass protection. This watch is IP67 certified (water and dust resistant).
Key features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, loudspeaker and vibration alerts. There are following sensors – accelerometer, heart rate monitor, Gyro and barometer.
Huawei watch comes with 300 mAh  built in battery that as per the company will give up to 2 days of mixed usage time.
Huawei watch with option Gold / Silver / Black colour dial along with leather band is priced at ₹22,999 (on flipkart) competing with Gear S2.

Karbonn Quattro L52,Titanium Mach 6 with free VR headset

In a bid to bring VR experience to the masses, Karbonn Mobiles are now offering VR headset with newly launched Karbonn Quattro L52 and Titanium Mach 6 smartphones. The Mach 6 comes with 3G support priced at ₹7,490 and the Quattro L52 comes with 4G support for ₹8,790.

Karbonn Quattro L52 4G features and specifications:

This is a dual SIM handset that houses a 1.3GHz Quad core processor (chipset unknown). This handset sports a 5 inch IPS fully laminated screen with 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
Quattro L52 is packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM plus micro SD support of up to 32GB. An 8MP camera (using Sony sensor) is placed on the back with flash support and on the front you will find a 5MP fixed focus camera.
Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. This comes loaded with pre-installed VR content including games and gets power from a 2250 mAh Li-ion battery that gives up to 6 hours of talk time.
Karbonn Quattro L52 with 4G support and free VR glasses is priced at ₹8,790.

Karbonn Titanium Mach 6 features and specifications:

This is also a dual SIM handset powered by 1.3GHz Quad core processor (chipset unknown). However this handset supports 3G. Mach 6 comes with a big screen of 6 inches (IPS) with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Plus 32GB micro SD card support.
Mach 6 houses a 3.2 MP camera on the front and 8MP camera on the rear. Key features are 3G, 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Titanium Mach 6 gets power from a 3300 mAh battery. It also comes pre-loaded with VR content and games.
Karbonn Titanium Mach 6 is priced at ₹7,490 with free VR headset.
Both these handsets are running Lollipop out of the box.

Lenovo Phab first sale on 21st April limited stocks for ₹11999

The Lenovo Phab a quad core 4G enabled phablet (Phone + tablet = Phab) sale is on 21st April exclusively on Flipkart for ₹11,999. Registrations  for the same has already begun. The Phab from Lenovo is a quad core powered that sports a 6.98 inch touch screen.

Lenovo Phab features and specifications:

Lenovo Phab Model No. PB1-750M as mentioned comes with a 6.98 inch 5 point multi touch supported screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution. There are dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support (both micro SIM slots support 4G).
This device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 quad core processor 64 Bit clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. Android 5.1 Lollipop runs the show with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (users will get around 11GB free internal storage space). There is micro SD card support too of up to 64GB.
Also included is a 13MP AF camera packed on the back with flash support and 5MP fixed focus camera packed on the front. Phablet weight is 250 grams with battery and dimensions are 97 x 186 x 8.9 (mm).

4G enabled Phicomm Clue 630 smartphone launched for ₹3999

Phicomm has launched a low cost smartphone with 4G LTE support – the Phicomm Clue 630. This smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 210 processor with 4G LTE support and comes loaded with 1GB RAM. Clue 630 is priced at just ₹3,999.

Phicomm Clue 630 features and specifications:

The Clue 630 is a dual SIM handset packed with 1GB RAM, 8GB built in ROM (internal storage) and micro SD card support of up to 64GB. This smartphone houses the Qualcomm MSM8909 210 quad core processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with Adreno 304 GPU.
