Meizu Pro 6 With '3D Press' Display, 10-LED Ring Flash, 4GB of RAM Launched

Meizu launched its Pro 5 smartphone back in September last year and has now launched its successor, the Pro 6. The 32GB inbuilt storage variant has been priced at CNY 2,500 (roughly Rs. 25,700), while the 64GB inbuilt storage version has been priced at CNY 2,800 (roughly Rs. 28,800). The smartphones will go on sale from April 23.
The USP of the Android-based Meizu Pro 6 is its 5.2-inch Super Amoled full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display with 3D Press functionality. The feature is Meizu's take on the 3D Touch pressure sensitive display technology that Apple debuted with the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. The display has a pixel density of 423ppi and is protected with Gorilla Glass 3.The smartphone is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor, with the 4 Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.4GHz, 4 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, and 2 Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz. The deca-core processor is clubbed with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and Mali-T880 GPU. Meizu Pro 6 features a fingerprint sensor on the home button. 
The smartphone sports a 21.1-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.4 sensor size, f/2.2 aperture, and a 10-LED dual-tone ring flash. It is also supported by laser and PDAF (phase detection autofocus) features. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture is also included. The smartphone is backed by a 2560mAh battery that supports fast charging with mCharge 3.0 technology.
On the connectivity front, the Meizu Pro 6 comes with the support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, A-GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The company is yet to announce the smartphone's availability outside the country. The smartphone measures 147.7x70.8x7.25mm, weighs 160 grams, and will be arriving in Champagne Gold, Black Star, and Moonlight Silver colour variants.

Creo Mark 1 launched in India for ₹19999

Creo today launched the talked about Mark 1 smartphone in the Indian market for a price tag of ₹19,999. This handset is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 octa core processor, is running Fuel OS (customized Android) and sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen.
The Mark 1 is a dual SIM handset with 4G support. It houses the MediaTek octa core processor Helio X10 clocked at 1.9GHz. Fuel OS based on Android 5.1 runs the show with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 128GB external micro SD card support.
This smartphone sports a 5.5 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass and protected with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. Screen resolution is Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels). There is a 21MP primary camera using SONY IMX 230 exmor sensor packed on the back with flash support and front camera is of 8MP resolution. Rear camera can shoot 4K videos and can record FHD slow motion at 120fps.
Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. A 3100 mAh battery powers up this handset.Other highlight is it comes with built in answering machine called Echo, built in sense feature and retriever. The retriever can help you trace the handset when it is lost / stolen. It works even when the person does a factory reset, pretty interesting.
Creo Mark 1 will be available soon on Flipkart for ₹19,999.

Micromax Launched Canvas 6 And Canvas 6 Pro Along With 19 Other Product Announcements

Micromax scheduled a major event today in Gurgaon, and made a lot of new announcements at the event. The company announced a total of 19 products, including 15 new phones, new television sets, and tablets. Talking about the launch, the company rolled Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro in India.


The 4G-enabled dual-SIM phone Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro are priced at INR 13,999. The Canvas 6 Pro has already gone up for pre-order via company's own site from today onwards, and the Canvas 6 will be available soon.
With the bunch of announcements, Micromax also showcased its brand new logo as seen in the picture below. The company has said that it will focus more on software and customer service and get a new headstart for the company. Other smartphone which were announced are Micromax Bolt Supreme, Bolt Supreme 2, Bolt Q381, Canvas Evok, Canvas Mega 2, Canvas Spark 2+, Canvas Unite 4.
The Micromax Canvas 6 comes packed in an all metal uni-body design and flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, it has a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m SoC, Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz chipset coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The rear camera is 13 MP unit, while an 8 MP camera is on the front. To juice up the Canvas 6, it has a 3000mAh battery and it becomes the first Micromax phone to boast of a fingerprint scanner.
The Canvas 6 Pro also has the first metal body and fingerprint scanner on a Micromax phone. The only addition to Canvas 6 Pro is the 4 GB RAM, which was 3 GB in Canvas 6. Other than this, it has 16 GB internal storage in comparison to 32 GB of Canvas 6. Rest of the configuration is similar in both the smartphones.

HTC will launch HTC 10 Lifestyle with snapdragon 652 in India

HTC has announced the HTC 10 that houses the Snapdragon 820 quad core chipset, however there is another variant HTC 10 Lifestyle that will hit the Indian stores. The Lifestyle actually comes with Snapdragon 652 chipset.
This smartphone is running Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box over a 5.2 inch screen (Super LCD 5) supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It's using a 2.5D glass corning gorilla protected. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and micro SD card support.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa core processor (64 bit) coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. Like the HTC 10 this handset also comes with a 12MP ultrapixel 2 primary camera using laser AF with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash (dual tone) support. Front camera is of 5MP resolution. Both front and rear cameras come with OIS support.
Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS (GLONASS), BT 4.2, USB type C port, finger print sensor (on the front), 3x microphone, NFC, HTC BoomSound and Dolby audio. Lifestyle houses a 3000 mAh battery (quick charge 3 supported).
The HTC 10 Lifestyle will be launched in some regions including India, the price details have not yet been revealed.

Windows 10 powered Lenovo Ideapad 100S for ₹14499

Lenovo Ideapad 100S is the latest netbook launched by Lenovo. This netbook is powered by Intel ATOM processor and is running Windows 10 with 2GB RAM. Ideapad 100S is priced at ₹14,499 available on Snapdeal.

This is a netbook that can be used for browsing, chatting, connecting on social networks, for office use – MS Office etc and limited low end gaming. Lenovo Ideapad 100S is powered by Intel Atom Z3735F quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. This CPU can be turbo boosted up to 1.8GHz.
Windows 10 Home runs out of the box with 2GB built in DDR3L RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. There is micro SD card slot too, to add external storage if needed. Netbook weight is around 1KG and there is a front facing camera of VGA resolution.
The Ideapad 100S sports an 11.6 inch (non-touch) screen with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. Other features are WiFi, HDMI Port, BT 4.0 and USB 2.0 x 2 ports. There is a 2 cell battery that as per the company will give up to 8 hours of usage time on a full charge.

HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820 chipset unveiled starting from $699

HTC has unveiled their next handset a Snapdragon 820 powered called the HTC 10. Key highlights about this smartphone is that it comes with 4GB RAM and houses a 12MP ultrapixel 2 camera on the back. HTC 10 will be priced starting from $699.
This smartphone weighs around 161 grams and sports a 5.2 inch super LCD 5 screen with 2.5D glass and supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Marshmallow Android 6.0 runs the show with HTC Sense 8.0 UI. There is 4GB of on-board RAM and optional 32GB/64GB of internal storage space. Also included is a micro SD card slot and a single nano SIM slot.
HTC 10 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64 bit quad core processor (clocked up to 2.2GHz) that is coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. A 12MP ultrapixel 2 camera is packed on the back with a f/1.8 aperture and dual LED flash support. This rear camera makes use of laser AF and it can record 4K videos.
Front facing camera also comes with a f/1.8 aperture with 5MP resolution. There is dual optical image stabilization – front as well as back camera.
Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type C port, BT 4.2, NFC, finger print sensor (front menu button), HTC BoomSound, 3x microphones and Dolby Audio. HTC 10 gets power from a 3000 mAh battery – quick charge 3.0 supported.
The smartphone pricing will start from $699 (approx ₹46K).
