DOCOSS X1 another ultra low cost smartphone for Rs. 888 Posted: 27 Apr 2016 10:42 AM PDT Here is another smartphone the DOCOSS X1 priced at just Rs. 888. The company had given a full page ad in Dainik Bhaskar newspaper. It's a dual core powered handset running KitKat with 1GB RAM with a price tag of under Rs. 1000. After Freedom 251 here is another ultra low cost handset, though not as cheap as the Freedom 251 but for the price of Rs. 888 it looks quite tempting. However the hardware is pretty much outdated. DOCOSS X1 features and specificationsX1 is a dual SIM handset with 3G support. It houses a 1.3GHz dual core processor – cortex A7 32 bit. It is running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. The micro SD card slot can in turn add up to 32GB of external storage. DOCOSS X1 comes with a 4 inch IPS screen the screen resolution is not mentioned it could be WVGA or FWVGA. There are dual cameras, one on the back with a 2MP resolution and other on the front with VGA resolution. Rear camera comes with LED flash support. Other features are 3G, 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth. Not sure if GPS comes built in. This handset gets power from a 1300 mAh removable battery. Where can you buy DOCOSS X1? this handset can be booked from the docoss.com website, booking have already begun and will close on 29 th April at 10PM. Delivery will begin from 2 ndMay 2016. Users can also book via SMS ( details mentioned on their website). This looks like a new company, so understand the risk, better not to make payments but if there is a cash on delivery option, no harm. The newspaper ads says 1 year warranty but I don't think the company will have adequate service centers. Source: gogi.in
