Xiaomi Mi 4S Snapdragon 808 powered unveiled for RMB 1699

At an event in China, Xiaomi unveiled another handset in the Mi 4 series, it's called the Mi 4S. The Xiaomi Mi 4S houses the snapdragon hexa core processor and comes packed with 3GB RAM. This handset also includes a finger print scanner and IR blaster. Mi 4S is priced at RMB 1699 (approx ₹18K).Xiaomi Mi 4S sports a 5 inch fully laminated IPS screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. As mentioned this dual SIM handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 a 64 bit hexa core processor coupled with Adreno 418 GPU.

MIUI 7 based on Android 6 Marshmallow runs out of the box with 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and micro SD card support of up to 128GB. There is a 13MP primary camera on the rear with dual tone LED flash support and 5MP camera on the front.Key features are 4G LTE (VoLTE supported), 3G, WiFi, USB Type C port, GPS, IR, Finger print scanner, Qualcomm QC 2.0 support and Bluetooth 4.1. Mi 4S gets power from a 3260 mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi 4S will soon be available in China for RMB 1699.

Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5 Pro launched starting from RMB 1999

Xiaomi has launched the Mi 5 and the Mi 5 Pro their next flagship models at MWC, Barcelona. These handsets are powered by latest top of the line Snapdragon 820 processor. Mi 5 Pro comes with 4GB on board RAM and 128GB ROM. CPU is 100% faster than snapdragon 810 and GPU is 40% faster than Snapdragon 810. Xiaomi Mi 5 got 142,084 score on Antutu. Mi 5 is insanely fast,  powered by Snapdragon 820 2nd Gen 14nm quad core processor clocked at 2.2GHz (64 bit) – double the performance and half the power consumption. It is using 530 Adreno GPU.

Screen (ultra thin Bezel) is 5.2 inches supporting full HD resolution. MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 runs the show (Mi 5 is first Mi device running Marshmallow) with 4GB RAM LPDDR4 and 64GB storage. There is 16MP 4 axis OIS camera on the rear using SONY IMX298 sensors and 4K recording. DTI (pixel to pixel isolation tech) and PDAF (Phase detection Auto Focus) supported. Front camera is a 4MP shooter.Mi 5 comes with curved edges on the back – transition from glass to metal. It is 7.25mm thick and weight is 129 grams with battery. 
Key features are 4G+ (600Mbps) with VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, GPS, USB Type C port, NFC (with NFC write mode), front fingerprint scanner, IR, Bluetooth and GPS. This handset gets power from a 3000 mAh battery – QC 3.0 support. Can charge 80% – to 90% in just about an hour.
Xiaomi Mi 5 PRO with 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM with 3D ceramic body is priced at RMB 2699 (approx ₹28,300), 64GB ROM version for RMB 2299 (approx ₹24,100). 
Mi 5 with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM + 3D glass body is priced at RMB 1999 (approx ₹20,900).

XOLO Era X with 4G VoLTE support launched for Rs.5777

XOLO Mobiles has launched another handset in the Era series the XOLO Era X. This handset is powered by quad core processor running Lollipop with 2GB RAM. Era X supports 4G LTE with VoLTE and is priced at Rs.5,777.
Here are the Era X specifications, XOLO Era X sports a 5 inch screen (corning gorilla glass protected) with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. This handset houses a quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz (Chipset Unknown). Android 5.1 runs out of the box – Era X will get Marshmallow update.
There is 2GB RAM (DDR3) and 8GB of internal storage. This dual SIM handset also supports up to 32GB external micro SD card. An 8MP auto focus camera is packed on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. There is LED flash support for both front as well as rear cameras.Key features are 4G LTE (4G + 4G), 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. This handset gets power from a 2500 mAh battery.

Sailfish OS powered Intex Aqua Fish Coming soon

Intex Aqua Fish a Sailfish OS 2.0 powered smartphone will be made available in India pretty soon. At an event in Barcelona (MWC 2016), Intex unveiled the official specifications. Aqua Fish will be priced at around Rs.7,000.Inside the hood the Intex Aqua Fish houses a 1.3GHz quad core processor (chipset not yet disclosed). It is a dual SIM handset that sports a touch screen display of 5 inches (IPS) supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Instead of the usual Android OS this one will be running Salfish OS version 2.0 out of the box. Aqua Fish comes packed with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM (internal storage) and 32GB external micro SD card support.When it comes to the camera there is an 8MP AF camera packed on the back with LED flash support and a 2MP camera on the front (fixed focus). Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. This handset gets power from a 2500 mAh battery.
Intex Aqua Fish running Sailfish OS 2.0 will be available probably in month of April with a price tag around Rs.7,000.
