Panasonic Eluga A2 4G VoLTE enabled for Rs. 9490

Panasonic today launched a new handset in the Eluga family, the A2. Panasonic Eluga A2 is  another handset with 4G LTE + VoLTE support. It is powered by quad core processor and comes with 3GB RAM. This handset carries a price tag of Rs. 9,490.

A2 is powered by a quad core processor (chipset unknown) clocked at 1GHz. This dual SIM smartphone is running Fit Home UI over Android Lollipop 5.1. The IPS touch screen is of size 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
Eluga A2 is packed with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. There is micro SD support of up to 128GB. Handset weight is 167 grams with battery and thickness is 8.9mm. Primary camera is of 8MP resolution with LED flash support and secondary camera is a 5MP shooter (fixed focus).Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi  and BT 4.0. This smartphone comes with 4000 mAh built in battery.
Panasonic Eluga A2 price is Rs Rs. 9,490 – available in Silver and Gold color options.

HTC 10 officially launched in India for price tag Rs. 52990

Finally HTC launched the HTC 10 in the Indian markets with a price tag of Rs. 52,990. At an event in New Delhi, today the company not only launched the HTC 10 but also launched couple of other smartphones.
HTC 10 is using the Snapdragon 820 64 bit Quad core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. This handset is running Marshmallow over a 5.2 inch Super LED screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The screen also comes with 2.5D glass.
There is 4GB on board RAM and optional 32GB / 64GB storage. Micro SD slot supports up to 2TB expandable storage. When it comes to camera the HTC 10 is packed with a Ultrapixel 2 primary camera with 12MP resolution and dual tone LED flash with laser AF. Front camera is a 5MP shooter.
This hardware can play and record 4K videos. HTC 10 weight is 161 grams with built in 3000 mAh battery (QC 3.0 supported). Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, dual band WiFi, GPS (GLONASS), Dolby, BoomSound, 3x mics, USB Type C port, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris with Aadhaar Iris recognition for Rs. 13499

Samsung has launched a new tablet called the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris. This tablet is powered by quad core processor and comes with 3G support. But the key attraction is the Iris camera on the back with built in Aadhaar authentication.

This tablet is using Contactless technology linked with Aadhaar servers. Galaxy Tab Iris is a made in India product and the Iris feature can be useful at many areas such as banking, healthcare, security and so on.

How does the Galaxy Tab Iris feature work?

Once the Aadhaar card ID is entered, the dual eye scanners on the rear can be used to scan the user's eye. The data collected is then verified from Aadhaar servers and the person's identity can be quickly verified (biometric).
This biometric technology (UIDAI compliant) can come to use in many areas as it gives the company ability to securely identify the person (Aadhaar based). It's paperless, fast and contact less.
Inside the hood the Galaxy Tab Iris is packed with Quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It is running Lollipop with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB ROM pus micro SD card support of up to 200GB. This tablet sports a 7 inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.
There is a 5MP AF camera on the rear along with dual Iris cameras. Weight is 327 grams with non-removable 3600 mAh battery. Key features are 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1.
Hardware is okay not that powerful, looks like a basic tablet but the Iris technology linked with Aadhaar is the key attraction and can come really handy for businesses and for security.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris is priced at Rs. 13,499.

HTC One X9 Helio X10 powered launched for Rs. 25990

Along with other HTC handsets, including HTC 10, the company also launched the HTC One X9 Dual in the Indian markets. This is a MediaTek Helio X10 octa core powered handset loaded with 3GB RAM and priced at Rs. 25,990.

This dual SIM handset as mentioned houses the MediaTek Octa Core Helio X10 64 Bit MT6795T chipset clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The One X9 sports a 5.5 inch screen protected with gorilla glass and supports 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Android Marshmallow with Sense UI runs out of the box with 3GB built in RAM and 32GB built in internal storage. Like the other HTC handsets this one too supports up to 2TB external cards. X9 weight is 170 grams and dimensions are 75.9 x 153.9 x 7.9 (mm).
When it comes to the camera this handset is packed with a 5MP front facing camera and a 13MP AF BSI sensor camera on the rear with LED flash. X9 can shoot 4K videos.
Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS (GLONASS), WiFi (dual band), BT 4.1, Dolby and BoomSound. There is a 3000 mAh non-removable battery that should easily last for up to 24 hours with moderate mixed usage.
HTC One X9 will be available in 2 different color options from June 20 2016 for Rs. 25,990.

Reliance LYF Flame 3 4G smartphone for just Rs. 3999

Reliance has added another handset to their LYF Flame family, the Reliance LYF Flame 3. This handset is powered by quad core processor and does support 4G with VoLTE. Flame 3 is priced at Rs. 3,999.

Reliance LYF Flame 3 is a dual SIM handset housing a quad core processor (chipset unknown) clocked at 1.5GHz. This handset is running Android 5.1 out of the box over a 4.0 inch IPS screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution.
There is 512MB minimal RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. Micro SD slot supports max 32GB external cards. On the back there is a 5MP camera with LED flash support and on the front there is a 2MP camera.
Other features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi (b/g/n). LYF Flame 3 gets power from a 1700 mAh battery with estimated talk time of 4.5 hours.

HTC Desire 825, 830, 630 and 628 launched

At an event in New Delhi, India, HTC launched the HTC 10 and some more handsets in the Desire series – HTC Desire 825, Desire 830, Desire 630 and Desire 628. HTC Desire 830 and Desire 630 price has not yet been disclosed. Desire 628 is priced at Rs. 13,990 and Desire 825 comes for Rs. 18,990.

HTC Desire 628 features and Specifications

This handset comes with dual SIM slot and is powered by MediaTek MT6753 64 bit octa core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU. Screen is 5 inches supporting 720p resolution. Android 5.1 runs the show with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 2TB micro SD support.



On the rear there is a 13MP camera with flash and on the front there is a 5MP FF camera. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Boomsound, dual speakers on the front and Bluetooth 4.1. Desire 628 gets power from a 2200 mAh battery. HTC Desire 628 is priced at Rs. 13,990 (availability from 5th June 2016).

HTC Desire 825 features and specifications

This dual SIM handset sports a 5.5 inch screen protected with Gorilla glass and supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is running marshmallow with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM + 2TB micro SD support.
Inside the hood it houses the Snapdragon 400 quad core processor. A 13MP camera is packed on the back with flash and on the front there is a 5MP FF camera. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, BoomSound, front spaker, WiFi and Bluetooth.
The dual SIM HTC Desire 825 will be available in June for Rs. 18,990.

HTC Desire 830 features and specifications

This handset is powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa core chipset and sports a 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080p resolution. Desire 830 is loaded with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 2TB micro SD support. A 13MP camera is on the back and a 4MP on the front.
Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, Boomsound, Dolby and Bluetooth. This handset gets power from a 2800 mAh battery. Price not yet disclosed.

HTC Desire 630 features and specifications

This dual SIM handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor. Desire 630 sports a 5 inch screen with 720p resolution. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 2TB micro SD support.
There is a 13MP camera on the back with flash support and on the front there is a 5MP camera. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS, Dolby, Boomsound and Bluetooth. The HTC Desire 630 gets power from a 2200 mAh battery. Price yet to be disclosed.

Lava Mobiles launched a new handset, the Lava A79 that houses a quad core processor and is packed with 1GB RAM. The A79 comes with dual SIM slot with 3G support and priced at Rs. 5,699.
Lava A79 weight with battery is 134 grams and dimensions are 78.6 x 155 x 9.2(mm). A79 sports a 5.5 inch screen supporting 800 x480 pixels resolution. Android Lollipop 5.1 runs the show with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
As mentioned this handset is powered by quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. On the back there is a 5MP camera probably auto focus with LED flash support and the front facing camera is of 2MP resolution. This handset can record 720 videos.
Other features are 3G, 2G, GPS, BT 4.0 and WiFi. The Laval A79 houses a 2200 mAh Li-ion removable battery.
Lava A79 will be available for Rs. 5,699 in grey and gold colour options.
