Samsung Mobiles has launched the Galaxy A5 (2016) in India for ₹29,400. This handset sports a 5.2 super AMOLED screen and is powered by octa core processor. The Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 is loaded with 2GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 houses an octa core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. It sports a 5.2 inch super AMOLED screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Android 5.1 Lollipop runs the show with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.This dual SIM handset comes with two Nano SIM slots plus a separate micro SD card that supports external cards of up to 128GB. This handset supports 4G LTE. Weight with battery is 153 grams and thickness is 7.3mm.The Galaxy A5 2016 is packed with a 13MP AF camera on the rear with LED flash support and a front facing camera of 5MP resolution. Both the cameras are with f/1.9 aperture. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos and supports OIS.
Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, GPS, finger print scanner, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1. There is accelerometer, light, proximity, hall and magnetic sensors. A 2900 mAh battery powers up this smartphone. Fast charging is supported.

Samsung Mobiles launched the Galaxy A7 2016 in India for ₹33,400. The Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 is an octa core powered smartphone that comes with 5.5 inch super AMOLED screen and loaded with 3GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 as mentioned is powered by 1.6GHz 64 bit octa core processor and it is running Lollipop 5.1 out of the box over a 5.5 inch super AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.A7 2016 is loaded with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is an additional micro SD card slot that supports up to 128GB storage. This is a dual SIM handset (2x nano SIM slots). ZOPO Hero 1 with 4G support launched in India for ₹12K

ZOPO mobiles another Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched a quad core powered handset called the ZOPO Hero 1, running android lollipop 5.1 with 4G LTE support in India. Hero 1 is priced at ₹12,000.
ZOPO Hero 1 is using MediaTek 64 bit quad core chipset MT6735 clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with Mali T720 GPU. Android 5.1 runs out of the box with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. There is micro SD card support too, of up to 64GB.This dual SIM handset sports a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Weight is 150 grams (with battery) and thickness is 8.65mm. This smartphone also includes a 13MP primary camera packed on the back with LED flash support and a 5MP camera on the front.Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. Hero 1 houses a 2500 mAh battery.
ZOPO Hero 1 will be available in two colour options for ₹12,000 from online portals as well as offline stores.

Meizu MX5 gets Flyme OS 5.0 update

The Flyme OS 5.0 has been rolled out in India on Meizu MX5 handset. This is not an over the air (OTA) update, if you wish to update you will need to manually download and install the same, we are not sure whether this update will be made available using OTA. Download size is around 800 MB.
Key highlight about the Flyme OS 5.0 is that it comes loaded with 300+ features and over 1000+ enhancements. Once upgraded to 5.0 the default boot animation and the ringtones got a complete makeover, they are India centric example boot animation – Taj Mahal. The battery has been optimized – with this new upgrade you can expect 11% more battery juice. Other features are floating notifications, card style multi task list, multi screen mode wherein users can use two apps on the same screen, shake to sort icons on home screen, new design, better battery management, app detecting (will detect and prevent fake apps to prevent risk) and enhanced permission management. STK launched their first action camera called the Explorer. The STK Explorer camera supports WiFi and packed with 19 accessories. This camera comes with fixed focus lens and can shoot 12MP still images / record videos in full HD resolution.
The STK Explorer camera can shoot great photos thanks to the 6G lens. It comes with 170 degree wide angle lens and supports burst mode that can capture 3 photos in 1.5 seconds. Not to mention 1080p (full HD) video recording is supported. Users can also shoot Time lapse videos set at specific intervals.There is built in WiFi that will help the user to instantly transfer the pictures / videos taken on to a camera using the mobile app. They can then share the pictures / videos via their smartphone.Now this Explorer Action camera comes with 19 accessories that include variety of mounting options, handle bar, mount etc and a water proof case that will make the camera water resistant to up to 30m.
