A new company Hyve Mobility today at an event in India launched two smartphones – the Hyve Buzz and the Hyve Storm. 

Hyve Storm features and specifications

Dual SIM
Android Lollipop 5.1 for now but it will get Marshmallow Android 6.0 update 1.3GHzMediaTek 64 bit MT6735 Quad core processor with Mali T720 GPU 
5 inches (IPS) supporting 1280 x 720p resolution
2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 64GB external micro SD support
13MP AF Rear camera with flash and on the front there is a 5MP fixed focus camera
2000mAh battery
Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0
Hyve Storm is priced at Rs. 8,499.

Hyve Buzz features and specifications

Android 5.1 and will get Android 6.0 update

Creo Fuel OS update – Audio enhanced

The Creo Mark 1 handset that was launched in April 2016, already got the first update in May 2016 and now they have rolled out the second update. The latest update enhances the audio experience, it gives users different options to customize the audio effects.

New update rolled out on the Creo Mark 1 will enhance the audio performance. This update will give users options to change sound effect across apps / system, be it listing to MP3, watching movies or playing games.
Audio Effects come with these presets, Balanced mode – perfect for gaming, video / music etc, Bass Boost – for bass and crisp beats, 3D surround sound – for surround sound experience, no effects – effects disabled, Acoustic – for higher mids and warmer tones and clear voice – more emphasis on spoken voice.

Freedom 251 smartphone shipping will commence from June 28

The Freedom 251 smartphone that was in the news surrounded by controversy will now be made available from June 28th 2016. Ringing Bell Company has confirmed the same, delivery will begin from 28th  via COD payment mode.

Ringing Bell told PTI that the Freedom 251 smartphone shipping will commence from 28th June 2016 and it will be sent to all / most of the customers who made successful payments for the same  – the payments were later refunded – such customers will be the first one to get the Freedom 251, payment mode will be COD (Cash on Delivery).
If you may recall the Freedom 251 handset caught a lot of attention, specially for its price tag of Rs.251 + Shipping. It indeed was the cheapest smartphones, people got so crazy that their website crashed, very few were able to make successful payments.
Freedom 251 handsets were not immediately available even the prototype looked suspicious and that gave birth to controversies, these controversies forced the company to refund the amount to  customers who  had successfully made the payments.
And now those customers will get the 251 handset via Cash on Delivery. Still a lot of time, shipping starts from June 28, let's see.
